A lifelong model train hobbyist and collector, I have been repairing model trains and accessories for myself and friends for many years. As brick-and-mortar hobby shops began to disappear, I opened Ye Olde TrainRx to assist model railroad enthusiasts. I buy, sell and repair Standard, O, HO and S-gauge model trains and operating accessories produced by Lionel, American Flyer, Marx, LGB, Bing and some other model train manufacturers. Some of my parts were purchased from model train stores that went out of business.
I have been selling trains since 1999 and repairing them since 1980. I’ve been taught by the best in repairing old trains and have obtained several out-of-print repair books and catalogs, as well as the Olsen’s toy train database, to make sure replacement parts and repairs are as authentic as possible.
I am a past member of the Train Collectors Association and current member of Lionel Collectors Club of America.
